About Me

My name is David Traves and I have a strong passion for design and development. I strive to create a rich online experience that engages the user, is simple to operate and navigate, and most importantly can communicate the ideas and values of a particular project.

I pride myself on writing nice clean code that is compliant and follows industry standards. (yeah... I know; I'm different :)

davidtraves.com is my personal site for just about anything and nothing. As a professional in both the print design, and computer technologies industry; I have had the unique opportunity to blend my talents in both areas to create beautifully powerful solutions for a select few.

I have worked creatively in the Beauty and Medical industries in both Print and web design creating hundreds of advertisements for a dozen or so publications over the last 14 years. I have worked with Photoshop, Illustrator, Quark and InDesign literally since their inception.

I have been involved with computer technologies for more than 17 years, and have worked professionally with manufacturing companies developing custom Inventory control software for the last 12. I am MCSE certified, and I'm fluent in many technologies including; .net, mssql, t-sql, mysql, access, php, html, CSS, unix, apache, ms server technologies and many more.....

My interests include all of the technologies I have just listed (yep, it helps when you actually enjoy this stuff), photography, golf, aviation, reading, learning, and "travelling to the east".

You can most likely find me locked away in a room right now designing, developing, dreaming.
